Directions: Read each sentence. Look at the present tense verb in red and the past tense in blue. Type the past tense verbs in the boxes. 

1. I race my brother all the time. Yesterday I raced my friend.

2. I get a pen from the drawer. Yesterday I got paper from the shelf.

3. I usually say nice things. Yesterday I said something mean.

4. I have good ideas. Yesterday I had a great idea.

5. I always win games. Yesterday my team won the ball game.
