Reflection: This is a great way to keep track of student records for assessment. Instead of spending time typing everything in, you can have the computer calculate averages and totals for you. You may also look at this for an overall progress check on students. If all students are lacking in a content area, maybe you need to focus on reviewing what students have failed to learn.

Reflection: This is a great way to visualize data to your students. If you create data based on their responses you can create a more meaningful activity for them. You can even have students create these graphs themselves. Then they can compare data and use higher order thinking skills for results and further understandings.

Reflection: Mail Merge is a quality tool for teachers to use data from microsoft excel to insert into letters to parents. It is an essential communication tool that will save time and help with the exchange of information with parents. Progress reports can now be quick and easy and not take away from planning time.
