Education
I
grew up in a suburb of Syracuse and attended the Liverpool Central
School District. I completed my undergraduate education at Nazareth
College of Rochester, where I received a BA in Spanish with Adolescent
Inclusive Education. I am currently completing my graduate studies in
TESOL at SUNY Cortland. I am certified in Spanish and Students with
Disabilities Spanish (grades 7-12).
Professional Experience
While
completing my undergraduate studies, I student taught at Roth Middle
School and Joseph C.Wilson Magnet High School and completed a practicum
with Life Prep @ Nazareth College. I also worked with Nazareth College Partners for Learning, acting as a tutor and a classroom aid in the Rochester City School District. I am currently teaching Spanish level 3 at Homer Senior High School.
Other Interests
I am a very artistic person. Some of my hobbies include creative writing, drawing, digital artwork, playing piano and singing.
