Los hechos divertidos:
playa *Barcelona is considered to be one of the best beach cities in the world, and all of the beaches were actually man-made.

*La Sagrada Familia is a famous church in the city.  It is under construction, and has taken longer to build than the Great Pyramids. sagrada familia

ramblas *Las Ramblas is a well-known street in the center of the city.  It has food, shops and even entertainment.  Although it is one street, it consists of 5 different avenues.

*El Día de Sant Jordi is an infamous holiday in Barcelona that is known as Saint George Day.  There are roses found all over the city on this day.  This is a holiday to celebrate love. rosa

metro*Barcelona uses metros and buses as forms of public transportation.  The city has 12 abadoned metro stations that were once traveled by trains and metros. Today, these abandoned stations are said to be haunted!
