The object of this project is to allow students to take a vignette from Sandra Cisneros novel, The House on Mango Street and express it’s meaning through pictures. They will each have read the novel in it’s entirety, have watched my example of “Bums in the Attic”, chosen their own chapter, and continue to create an enhanced podcast of the passage. They will personally verbalize the excerpt, focusing on tone and pacing, then attach images to the words to better put forth their take on the theme within that particular vignette.
