Champion of the Month for October 2009!
Team ...Nice! won it's second championship in as many years this spring, leading some to speculate that they may be the next great dynasty of the kickball world. Led by team captain Chris Neer the team started off their sophomore season strong with 3 wins and 0 losses. The fourth week of the season presented the first real challenge for Team...Nice!. With a record that almost rivaled ...Nice!, Team Dollsie ended up being more than Team ...Nice! could handle. Despite leading for a time, Team ...Nice! faltered late and fell 5-3. It was their first loss of the season; hopefully it was also their last.
The next four games were blowouts as Team...Nice! ran over their opponents in dominating fashion. Those four games would prove to be the perfect appetizer for their main course; a rematch in the semi-finals with Team Dollie. True to form, both teams played well and matched each other throughout the game. In extra innings, with the score tied, Team ..Nice!'s captain, Chris Neer, drilled home the winning run with a walk off kick. The championship game would prove to be dessert as Team ...Nice! sailed through the game and on to their second straight championship.
