Standards Addressed:

Standard 1	Students will lisren, speak, read and write in English for information.
Standard 2	Students will listen, speak, read and write in English for literary response, enjoyment, and expression.
Standard 5	Students will demonstrate cross-cultural knowledge and understanding.

Objectives:

Students will critically think and respond to questions about the separation of church and state and how it is related to the news clip.

Assessment:

Students will be assessed on their final writing assessments produced after they have completed the listening excercises.
