I think that we still need to practice. For your homework, I want you to write the opening for your own narrative piece. You must include the following things in your piece:
- the verbs asked and said
- atleast 5 different past tense verbs
- 3rd person pronouns at least twice
- and try to use quotation marks where they are needed, we will be discussing quotation marks at a later time
Please bring your piece to class where I will ask each of you to read it aloud, focusing on the correct pronunciation for each of the past tense verbs ending in -ed. To practice at home, you can read aloud to yourself, to a family member, or a friend.
