• Words such as I, we, he, she, his, her, and they are just a few examples of words that are called "Pronouns". We can say that pronouns talk about people, places, or things. In this book the pronouns refer to people.
• When you are talking about boys and girls, you use different pronouns: For girls we can use "she" and "her". For boys we can use "he" , "his", and "him".
• Examples
• Father bear says, "I'm a father. I'm a he." Father is replaced by the pronoun "he" because the father is a man.
• Mother bear says, "I'm a mother. I'm a she." Mother is replaced by the pronoun "she" because mother is a woman.
