The Village of Tlaquepaque

Tlaquepaque is named and modeled after the Mexican city of the same name outside of Guadalajara.
The name Tlaquepaque (pronounced: tla-keh-pah'-keh) comes from the Nahuatl Native Indian language,
which is the ancient language of the Aztecs, and it means
"the best of everything."

Tlaquepaque is Sedona's Arts & Crafts community which features several amazing art galleries,
specialty shops for things like hand-crafted pottery and music boxes, trendy restaurants,
lovely hotels, all resting in a tranquil and beautiful natural environment
designed in Spanish Colonial style architecture.
