introduction

Hi! Our names are Shannon, Lauren, Liz, Tanya, and Natasha. We have just moved to the Gobi Desert in the southern part of Mongolia. It's going to take some adjustment to go from very cold weather, as you can see, to the hot desert area. In New York we are used to snow and city life. We our used to seeing street lights and sidewalks everywhere. We are entering into a completely different environment then we are used to. However,we are very excited to be here and teach in the school. We also cannot wait to learn from the very interesting people that inhabit this land. It is going to be a worthwhile experience that will be filled with many exciting events. We will be learning about everything that this desert consists of.
