My Home Specifically, the
part of the Amazon Rainforest where I and my friends are staying is in
the Ecuadorian Rainforest. This rainforest like most others belongs to
the tropical wet climate group. The temperature rarely gets higher than
93 degrees or lower than 68 degrees. The humidity is usually between
77-88%. Rainfall most often exceeds 100 inches per year! The housing
complex that we live in has a thatched roof, which helps ventilate it
to keep it cool. Also, it is raised up on stilts because as we know
with the large amount of rain that we get also comes flooding! Below is
a picture of our housing complex and its owner.
