Facts

Elephants have the largest brain of all land mamals.They have about 6-7 new sets of teeth during their life time(weighng 4kg each and 30cm long). When the last teeth wear out the elephant will die. They do not have bones in their trunks, and the trunk is not used for drinking, it is used for sucking up water to blow into their mouth. The trunk is also used for fighting. The tusks are incisor teeth which grow on the upper jaw when they are 2-5 years old.
