-Accused by actress/wife Robin Givens and her family of domestic violence on June 17, 1988
-Broke a bone in right hand during a fight with former opponent Mitch Green at 4 A. M. in Harlem, NY on August 23, 1988 (ordered to pay Green $45,000 on October 16, 1997)
-Two women sue Tyson for two separate incidents on the same night at a New York nightclub in December 1988 (Tyson allegedly grabbed both women)
-Accused of slapping a parking attendant three times outside a Los Angeles nightclub on April 9, 1989 after the attendant asked Tyson to move his vehicle (charges were dropped due to a lack of witness cooperation)
-A New York City civil jury awards Sandra Miller $100 for battery from an incident in which Tyson grabbed her breasts, insulted and propositioned her
-Arrested in July 1991 for raping Miss Black Rhode Island, Desiree Washington (convicted on charge of rape in February 1992 - served 3 years of a 6-year sentence and released in March 1995)
-Found guilty of threatening a guard and of disorderly conduct while in prison on March 8, 1992 (15 days were added on to his sentence)
-Stripped of WBC Title for refusing to fight #1 contender Lennox Lewis on September 7, 1996
-Bit Evander Holyfield’s ear twice, taking a piece off on the second one in a June 28, 1997 bout (fined $3 million and had boxing license revoked by the Nevada State Athletic Commission, but got it back the next year)
-Two women claimed Tyson verbally and physically abused them on March 1, 1998 at a Washington bistro
-Kicked a motorist in the groin and punched another in the face before being subdued by his own bodyguards after a traffic accident on August 31, 1998 (served 9 months of a year sentence, was fined $5000, served 2 years probation after release from prison, and performed 200 hours of community service)
-Put in an isolation cell at the Montgomery County Detention Center on February 20, 1999 after becoming upset and throwing a television set that narrowly missed jail guards
-Hit Orlin Norris after the bell in an October 23, 1999 bout causing the fight to be declared a no contest
-Members of the 24-Carat Ferret Rescue take two ferrets into custody from Tyson’s Las Vegas estate on November 18, 1999 saying the ferrets were starving to death (no charges were made)
-Two women accuse Tyson of grabbing one of them and suggesting a sexual relationship and swearing at the other one (a confidential settlement was made)
-Accused by a topless dancer at a Las Vegas nightclub of punching her in the chest and verbally abusing her on May 19, 2000 (charges were not pressed at time of incident, but dancer filed a suit the following month, but wasn’t brought to court)
-Knocked the referee down in order to keep punching Lou Savarese in a June 24, 2000 bout after Tyson had already won by TKO 38 seconds into the fight (fined $187,500 for his behavior)
-Beat Andrew Golota in an October 20, 2000 bout, but was changed to a no contest because Tyson tested positive for marijuana in a post-fight urine test
-Police investigate claims that Tyson attacked retired heavyweight boxer Mitchell Rose outside a New York nightclub on December 18, 2001
-Witnesses claim Tyson threw glass Christmas ornaments at journalists trying to interview him on January 2, 2002 (no reports were made of damage, injuries, or arrests)
-A brawl broke out during the press conference for the upcoming Tyson vs. Lennox Lewis fight on January 22, 2002 resulting in Tyson biting Lewis on the thigh
-Allegedly beat up two autograph seekers in a Brooklyn Marriott on June 21, 2003
-One of Tyson’s bodyguards files suit, claiming that Tyson punched him two times in the face, breaking his left orbital bone
-Arrested in Scottsdale, Arizona on December 29, 2006 for suspicion of DUI and felony drug possession and paraphernalia possession (plead guilty on September 24, 2007 and was sentenced to 1 day in jail)
