Congratulations,
you have completed your assigned task.
Did you remember to answer the three question about your assigned "Walls". Hopefully, you have learned that people create "walls" for many reasons and that "Walls" can take on many forms. Some examples are STONE (like the Great Wall of China, the Wailing Wall, the Mahabalipuram's Animal Walls, Greatz Zimbabwe, Cuzco, Peru, AND the Berlin Wall), PAINTINGS (like the Aborigines, the Lascaux Cave, Muslim Walls, and Mexican Murals), STRUCTURES (Taos Pueblo, and the Canadian Museum of Civilization), MONUMENTS (The Vietnam Veterans Memorial), PRISON WALLS (Nelson Mandela). Walls can also take many other forms which we will contiinue to learn about in class. Each "WALL" HAS its significance to the people who have created it and each "Wall" has value in the history of the world. "Walls" do talk and they are another way to tell the history of the world. I Thank you for participating in this Webquest. NOW WE MOVE ON TO OUR CLASS QUILT. PICTURES TO BE UPLOADED WHEN COMPLETED. |
