To accomplish your task, follow the steps listed below.


  1. You will be working in your assigned groups (see group chart on chalkboard).  Remember your group number as you will be responsible for gathering information on only those "Walls" that are listed under your group number.  (Group 1 - 5)
  2. Each group is responsible for three "Walls", visit the sites that are listed under the "Wall" with the exception of Group 5 who will only be responsible for two.  
  3. There are three questions that you need to answer about each "Wall"
    • Who created it?
    • Why did they create it?
    • What do you think about it?
  4. Remember that you are going to write a reflection about what you have learned about the "Walls".  In your notebook, write down any interesting facts that you would like to include in your reflection.
  5. Also, as you explore the sites and learn why the "Walls" were created, think about how you want to design your quilt square.  What do you want it to say?
